North State Route 48 For Project Questions, Contact Cindy Klopfenstein, City Engineer, at 683-0150, ext. 6114 The City of Loveland is undertaking a $727,000 roadway improvement project along North State Route 48 from O'Bannon Bridge to the city corporation limit. The project involves the pavement improvement, construction of curb and gutter and stormwater improvements on the roadway and the construction of retaining walls to stabilize the slopes adjacent to the roadway. The project will also upgrade the fire service by installing new fire hydrants and connecting the new fire hydrants to the existing 12" water main. Approximately 8,112 daily users will benefit from the improvement. The project is expected to start in April of 2007 and is funded with a $363,429 State of Ohio grant and water and storm water utility funds. On October 17, 2006, the City hosted a neighborhood meeting to provide conceptual information to residents in the neighborhood and listen to their concerns and issues. The exhibit that was presented at the meeting can be viewed at City Hall or by clicking here. Please visit this page regularly to view updated information related to this project.
