Who May Use This Tool?

For the tax year 2007, individuals may use this tool.  The tax tool allows for:

• Individual or joint returns
• Multiple W-2's
• W-2's showing taxes paid to more than one municipality
• Part-year residents
• 2106 expenses (Unreimbursed Employee Business Expenses)
• Moving expense reimbursements that have been included on your W-2
• Verifying estimated tax paid and/or credit carryover from 2005 (See instruction at bottom of page)

If  your return includes more than the above, please take advantage of our free tax service, available on a walk-in basis.

Step 1 - Click on First Time User (even if you used this service last year)

To begin using the online tax tool, you will need the Tax Account number from your Loveland Tax Return form, which was mailed to you in January.  The account number is located just above the name & address section of the form.  Enter Account number, your last name, and the e-mail address you would like your PIN sent to.  Click Create Account when you have completed the information form.  Shortly thereafter you should receive an e-mail with your PIN and a link back to the Tax Tool.  Click on the link when you are ready to proceed.

Step 2 - Login

Set up a username and password as instructed & click Submit in order to proceed to the Tax Tool.  It will guide you through the steps to complete your Loveland tax return online.  You will be able to fill in the form online, but cannot submit it electronically.  Any time you wish to access your tax calculations, use "Returning User" and enter your selected username and password.

When You Are Done

Simply print your tax form as the last step in the process and use the "Logout" button to close the Tax Tool. You may also print out estimated tax vouchers for 2008 if you need to make estimated payments. Sign your form (both required if a joint return), attach a check or money order if taxes are due, and mail to:

To Verify 2007 Estimated Payments and/or Credits from 2006:

Press "click here" below to go to the Tax Tool Login page.  You will see an option for Tax Accountants.  Click on the link and you will see a page where you will enter your Account number and last name.  Press Login and your information will appear.  If there are no estimated payments or credits indicated and you feel there should be, please call (513) 583-3035 during business hours.
