04/11/2008:   Broadway and Hanna Water Line Replacement Project

Restoration of disturbed along Broadway and Hanna are commencing today.  Road resurfacing of Broadway Street from the Five Points intersection and Williams, and Hanna Avenue between Broadway and Oak is scheduled for Thursday, April 16th and 18th, weather permitting.  The roadway will be closed to through traffic and no on-street parking will be allowed on those dates.

 

04/11/2008:   Tot Lot Reconstruction Project Update

The City of Loveland received a grant for $68,500 for improvements to both the Navaho and Cherokee Tot Lots.  The City's Department of Public Works installed new playground equipment last fall.  The construction of new sidewalks to improve accessibility to the play areas is scheduled to be installed the week of April 14, 2008.

The City of Loveland Public Works Department maintains many of the City's facilities, storm drainage systems, public parks, 96 lane miles of roadway and 80 miles of water main servering over 4,500 water customers.

The Public Works department also provides leaf pick-up in the fall, brush pick-up in the spring, snow plowing operation in inclement weather and Christmas tree recyling.

Right of Way Permits

The City requires a permit and inspection for any work performed in the right of way which may include but not limited to sidewalk repairs/replacement, utility work, drive aproach repair/replacement and street or curb cuts.  An application can be picked up at City or by downloading the documents below and returning both doucments to City Hall for review.
