Clermont County Natural Hazards Mitigation Plan:
Clermont County recently completed development of a Countywide All Natural Hazards Mitigation Plan. The preparation and adoption of this plan was necessary for the County and jurisdictions within the County to be eligible to receive federal and state mitigation funding assistance in the future (the City has previously done this for Hamilton County). Staff served on the steering committee that helped draft the plan. The County Board of Commissioners has requested each jurisdiction adopt the plan and select one action item to actively pursue as a mitigation project for the community.
