The Fifty Forward Committee was formed to enrich the lives of Loveland residents over fifty. Their mission is to offer opportunities for fun social events, lifelong learning, and interaction within the community.

- July 21 – Summer Concert on the Fountain Green at 6 p.m.
Big Trouble Blues Band will be playing on the Fountain Green in front of Bob Roncker’s. Bring a blanket, drinks, and dinner and sit back and enjoy. To learn more about the event click here.
- July 28 – Scottish Fling at the Greater Loveland Historical Museum 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Entertainment presented by members of the local Caledonian Society. Bagpipe players and dancers will perform. Light refreshments will be served on the verandah. Bring your friends and a lawn chair and enjoy the fun! For directions click here.
- September 8 through November 18 – Loveland Citizens Police Academy
Loveland, Milford, and Miami Township residents are invited to enroll in the 2016 Citizens Police Academy. This 11 week course is designed to promote a better understanding of law enforcement through classroom and filed training. Featured speakers will include police chiefs and officers, a judge, and the city manager. The program includes a ride along with an officer, K-9 demonstration, and tour of the safety center and jail. Topics will include search and seizures, domestic violence, and O.V.I. to name a few. Classes will be held on Thursday evenings (September 8 – November 18) from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at various locations in Loveland, Milford, and Miami Township. - September 7 – Cincinnati Reds v. New York Mets
Tickets are $31.67 and include transportation to and from the game. The seats are in Section 130 and are in the shade. The bus will pick everyone up at New Hope Baptist Church at 10:45 a.m. The game starts at 12:35 p.m. and will end by 4:30 p.m. The bus will pick up the group at the ballpark at 5 p.m. and return them to New Hope Baptist Church. Tickets can be purchased at City Hall, cash or check only.
