Right of Way Permits

The City requires a permit and inspection for any work performed in the right of way which may include but not limited to sidewalk repairs/replacement, utility work, drive aproach repair/replacement and street or curb cuts. An application can be picked up at City or by downloading the documents below and returning both doucments to City Hall for review.

Construction Projects

Waterline Replacement on Wall Street from W. Loveland to Ohio Ave. – $467,600, 0% Loan from SCIP Funding Program

The contractor for this project was Ford Development Corporation.
Project Limits: Wall St from W. Loveland Ave. to Bridge near Kiwanis Park, Ohio Ave. and Riverside Dr. from W. Loveland to Park Ave.
The project scope included replacing 2,100 linear feet of 4” Water Main with 8” diameter Water Main, road resurfacing, limited storm sewer work, and restorations.
Construction was completed over the summer and fall of 2011.

Bellwood Storm Drainage Improvements – $313,600, 0% Loan from SCIP Funding Program

Ford Development Corporation was the contractor for this project
Project Limits: within easements east of Navaho Drive, from W. Main St. to just south of Bellwood Drive.
The project scope included replacing 350 linear feet of 18” storm sewer with 30”-36” diameter storm sewer, road resurfacing, and restorations.
Construction was completed over the summer and fall of 2011.

Annual Sidewalk Maintenance Program – TBD

The upcoming 2012 sidewalk repair program, with sidewalk inspections beginning in the Fall of 2011, will occur on the following streets:
- West Loveland Avenue
- East Loveland Avenue
- Third Street
- O' Bannon Avenue
- Second Street
- Broadway Street
- East Broadway Street
- Hanna Avenue
- Paxton Street
