Redevelopment of Downtown Loveland

The above graphic is a concept plan that has been submitted to the City from Loveland Redevelopment Group (LRG), the developer engaged in the Downtown Job Creation and Revitalization project. The public is welcome to provide any input:  Please contact Jeff Wright, Assistant City Manager, at jwright@lovelandoh.com or 683-0150 with any comments.  The concept plan depicts the proposed redevelopment of the approximately three-acre redevelopment site that has been titled "Loveland Station."

LRG has submitted this plan to the City so that feedback could be provided to them from residents, Council, and staff.  The concept plan was generated after LRG conducted multiple marketing meetings and focus groups with commercial real estate brokers to identify how the redevelopment project should be designed to successfully capture the appropriate mix of tenants and be convenient for patrons to use.  A reoccurring theme that LRG heard in their meetings with the commercial real estate community was for this project located in a suburban central business district to include accessible and convenient parking for patrons, a theme that has influenced this concept substantial.

This concept plan is in an early stage and will undoubtedly receive revisions during the planning process in reaction to feedback from the City and potential end users of the redevelopment so that the needs of those future tenants are accommodated for a successful project.  The building fronts are shown with varying setbacks of facades to break up the building masses.  Although it is too early in the project planning stage to generate building renderings, the development team understands that the community expects that the buildings will be designed to reflect colors, materials, and elements that will complement the existing neighborhood.
