In November 2013, the City of Loveland Planning & Zoning Commission approved the final site plan for a senior housing development project by the PIRHL development firm. The development will be located at the corner of East Loveland Avenue and Third Street, approximately two blocks east of the downtown historic district.
The site was redeveloped into a 40-unit, mid-rise senior apartment buildings with associated site landscaping and on-site parking. The new three-story elevator apartment community serves senior residents of Loveland, aged 55+, and is designed for senior independent living. The building includes 10 one-bedroom and 30 two-bedroom units, as well as community spaces and common amenities.
Construction began in May 2014.
