Special Events The City of Loveland sponsors a variety of special events in addition to the independently run events that have selected the City as their location. Annually held on July 4th every year, complete with a parade, great music and fireworks.
During the months of May - August, on selected Sundays, the City of Loveland hosts different musical entertainment from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Nisbet Park. Produced by the Loveland Arts Council, artists from all over meet in Nisbet Park to showcase their artwork. The day is filled with art projects for children and opportunities to purchase a work of art from a talented artist.
Memorial Day
Conducted by the Veterans' Memorial Committee, a parade and procession through the community and area cemeteries takes place. An annual event drawing cyclists from all over the country to participate in a variety of races from beginners to professionals.
Valentine Festivities
In the true spirit of the "Sweetheart of Ohio", Loveland's Area Chamber of Commerce sponsors a Valentine Lady, picked from nominations to reign over the month of February. The Valentine Lady is a special tradition and an honor to those who have earned the title. During the month of February a card design and poetry contest is held in addition to a special breakfast honoring the community and the Valentine Lady.
