For those that don't know, the City of Loveland is full of recreational opportunities, both passive and active, for all ages and abilities.  An area of particular interest is the East Loveland Nature Preserve, located next to the VFW Hall and accessible by way of East Loveland Avenue.  The City of Loveland owns the preserve, but has a small group of volunteers and Eagle Scouts who help staff keep the trails clear and adequately marked, in addition to building benches and providing a bird blind.  Watch for native birds, have a low-impact nature walk or just come to enjoy the sounds of the creek.  Volunteers are always needed to help maintain this natural area.  Please call 513-683-0150 or click on the quick link to volunteer!
