Volunteer Opportunities

Residents and business owners in the City of Loveland have many opportunities to get involved in the community.  Anyone interested in joining any of the City's boards, commissions or committees should contact Loveland City Hall at (513) 683-0150.  Current vacancies or events needing volunteers are listed below:

  • Loveland Beautification Committee: Seeking volunteers for the 2005 Fall Clean Up.  Click here to learn more.
  • Granny's Garden School (not City-sponsored): Granny's Garden School is looking for behind the scenes volunteers. For those interested, please call (513) 324-2873 or click here. Volunteers needed for:
    • Embroidering the garden logo on new volunteer aprons.
    • Planning and organizing events.
    • Keeping the gardens watered.
    • General Garden help not appropriate for the kids.
    • Writing press releases and general promotion.
    • Picking flowers for the local senior center to pres
  • Citizen's Police Academy: Academy students will find out what it's like to be in the shoes of Loveland Police Officers. Over several weeks students will discuss and actively participate in issues involving law enforcement and safety.  For those interested, please contact Community Resource Officer - Chad Caudell at (513) 583-3000.     • Academy students must either reside or work in the Loveland area.
    • Classes are held on Wednesday evenings at the Loveland Safety Center
    • Class time is 6:30pm-9:30pm
    • Brochures are available at the Loveland Police Department (126 S. Lebanon Rd.) or Loveland City Hall (120 W. Loveland Ave.)
